How it all began

Tucked away at a secret Notting Hill address, your afternoon kicks off with a nibble and a tipple, getting to know your fellow Lunch Clubbers. In the summer months this can be on the slightly kitsch balcony overlooking the rooftops of Portobello or, in the winter, by a cosy fire. You then settle in around the dining table to enjoy a good old-fashioned traditional British Sunday roast.
We carve at the table and an array of seasonal vegetables, condiments and plenty of gravy are placed in the centre of the table, where you’re encouraged to help yourself to as much (or as little) as you like. And, if you fancy seconds, don’t be shy. There’s more than enough to go around! Don’t forget to save room for your traditional pudding, though, which invariably involves homemade ice cream or custard… Or both!
Oh, and if you have a savoury tooth, cheese is on the menu too. Finally, you’ll finish off with coffee, a selection of fresh teas and homemade pistachio macaroons.
All you have to bring is a bottle of wine and a smile.
